Around the kitchen and more...

Kate Sophia took her first bites of food last night. Tasty rice cereal. She was very intrigued by the whole process and didn't know quite what to do with the food once it was in her mouth. Here's a video clip of her adventure:

The Bumbo

Today Kate tried out her new Bumbo Seat, which is a baby chair. Dylan thought it was a new potty for him and wanted to play with it. He successfully squeezed his 47 pound body into it.

Trick or Treat!!

Halloween has come and gone...and we all had a ball! Dylan was a Welsh red dragon and Kate was a daffodil. Aunty Lynne worked her magic and made both costumes. The Hardins came over and we all went Trick-or-Treating. Dex was a cowboy and Pipa was Ariel from the "Little Mermaid".

We were walking the neighborhood for over an hour. Towards the end, Dylan had one of the grown-ups hold his pumpkin, which was weighed down with Halloween loot. He also had to start holding up his dragon tail because he was getting tired. Dylan enjoyed eating a couple of his treats when we got home. When I put him to bed, he asked me if we could go trick-or-treating again sometime soon. I put him to bed at 9:15 pm ...but he didn't fall asleep until after 11:00 due to all of the excitement and sugar!!!
