Gramma, Papa, and Uncle Natcho's Visit, Part 2: Pumpkin Patch

Every October we visit the Uesugi Farms pumpkin patch in Morgan Hill. Luckily Gramma and Papa were able to join us this year! This was Dylan's 3rd visit and Kate's 2nd.

First stop: the storybook corn maze.

Here Dylan is trying to get Kate to pose for the picture:

Fun hayride, although Dylan seemed a little nervous. Kate was puzzled by the whole experience; she wasn't sure why we were riding through corn fields.

Checking his height before the train ride. Kate enjoyed the train ride much more. Dylan was still a little nervous...must be the age (this is his third year visiting this pumpkin patch and his third time on all of these attractions!)!

Deep in thought over the selection process:

Dylan was very proud of the two pumpkins he picked.

Dylan asleep in our garage. A sign of a fun day!

Kate loves this tunnel!

Digging in our garden, or as Dylan calls it, his "construction site."

A priceless photo!!

Gramma, Papa, and Uncle Natcho's Visit, Part 1: Kate's Baptism & Our Trip to San Diego

Hooray! They've arrived!!!

Fun around the house and neighborhood:

Dylan helping Uncle Natcho set up his tent in our backyard:

This was the first time, since Kate's birth, that the WHOLE family was together. After trying to schedule Kate's baptism for over 8 months, we were finally able to do it on September 30, 2009.

Kate in her pretty, white dress!

Baptism time. Kate kept trying to run away.

And she successfully dodged the water, but Father Cobb got her on his second attempt!

The proud Godparents: Uncle Natcho & Auntie Annon!

After the baptism over, the kids ran around the chapel.

Hanging out at Aunty Lynne's house after the ceremony.

October 1 - - off to San Diego!!!

Loads of fun at the hotel's 3 swimming pools and 3 water slides! This is Dylan going down the smaller water slide. He actually went down the big water slide twice, but unfortunately we didn't get a picture of it.

Picture on the right is me and Uncle Natcho racing down the slide. This was the closest I ever came to winning!

Our last morning at the pool before flying home.
