Disneyland

We just returned home from our first family road-trip. 3 nights at Disneyland, 1 night in Newport Beach, and 1 night in Lompoc (to see Auntie Lynne on her 500+ mile bike ride to LA). The trip was a complete success!

Just after pulling out of the driveway, the kids were very excited! (Kate with her sunglasses upside-down):

4 hours into our drive, and the kids are still all smiles!

Happy Halloween 2009!

Dylan's playgroup had a Halloween party 10 days before Halloween. I dressed them up in previous years' costumes. Dylan was the Welsh Red Dragon from last year and Kate was a turtle (from Dylan's first Halloween in 2006). I was surprised by how much Kate enjoyed wearing her costume. She had it on for over 2 hours! She loved it!!

Here we go...trick-or-treating on Halloween night! Sally the Rooster, Dylan the Bat, and Kate the Ghost. Aunty Lynne made Dylan and Kate's costumes. Another amazing job!!

Dylan thought his costume was awesome!

Kate walked around saying "boo!"

Lucky Dylan stayed up until 10pm!
