Fun in San Diego!

On October 2nd - 5th, Gramma, Papa, and Uncle Natcho flew with Dylan down to San Diego for his first "vacation" without Mommy and Daddy. He had the time of his life and talks about it every day. They met up with Kristin and visited Legoland and the San Diego Zoo and spent countless hours at the hotel pool...which had a water slide!!! Poor Papa was at a conference during the day, but he got to join in on the pool fun in the evenings.

This week's pics:

Our quest to get a cute picture of the two of them continues. Dylan refuses to cooperate. As you can see here, he got quite upset!!
At least Dylan is not screaming, but still no smile...

Beach Baby and other pics.

It's official...Kate is definitely a California Baby! She made her first trip to the beach at only 5-weeks old.Stubborn Dylan refusing to nap in his bed.

Dylan loves puzzles right now! This is one of his favorites. He probably does it 20 times a day!

What have we been up to lately?

Well...not too much! Kate's favorite activities are napping and nursing. Dylan helped us give Kate her first bath. He tried to clean her with the kitchen sponge!!

Uncle Natcho Welcoming Kate.

This picture was taken of Uncle Natcho in front of Lamplugh Glacier, West Arm of Glacier Bay, Alaska, 12 hours after Kate was born, but 24 hours before he found out. Uncle Natcho was out in the Alaskan Wilderness guiding a trip for the entire month of July. His only means of communication was a satellite phone that he could use to check in every now and then with the International Wilderness Leadership School's headquarters. After Kate was born, I called the IWLS office and left a message for Natcho's next check-in.
